Children Swimming Course

Children Course (from 3 to 6 years old)

Afternoon schedules in 30° water- 50 minutes Group lessons
The course will be activated upon reaching the minimum established number of participants.

Course main focuses:

  • For the children that start going to the swimming pool for their first time and might be afraid of water it is necessary to proceed with a slow and appropriate approach: first of all they have to familiarize with the new environment, with the other children, familiarize with water through game, and if it necessary, with the help and presence of a parent at the swimming pool side, without forcing the child. In case of refusal, it is surely better to start with some private lessons that, together with a parent presence, help the child to familiarize with the environment and the water in the softest way, restarting momentarily with the infant class.
  • The next goal is a progressive and not traumatic estrangement from the parents, earlier essential.
  • Therefore one will proceed with a slow approach to swimming techniques, always making it fun, thanks to games, imagination and fairy tales:

    • Prone and supine floating even with teaching material
    • Prone and supine water slipping with flutter kicks and strokes
    • Prone and supine water slipping with flutter kicks and strokes
    • Jumps and first dives
    • Short immersion approach
